MY TAKE: This thing works! The overall sonic affect is increased background silence and cleaner overall sound. - Galen Carol

Welcome to the zero static world!

Vinyl records have a surface static electricity charge created by friction. Two common sources of that friction are stylus drag as well as simply removing records from their jacket and sleeve. The ION-001 effectively neutralizes and removes static electricity and our unique "fanless" design allows for silent operation.

The ION-001 is a very high-power device, equipped with a total of 4 ionizers, 2 each for positive and negative ions. The ION-001 utilizes a specialized power supply controller which suppresses the generation of excess ozone, preventing unwanted oxidation.

Simply position the ION-001 next to your turntable and switch it on when playing an LP.

    Customer Comments:

"Before I have started using ION-001 I have been experiencing static charges on my records even with the best care. I have installed the ION-001 and those charges are gone. Literally, no charge can be observed on the surface at all. It has significantly improved my listening experience. The records got quieter as those small pops and clicks due to static charges were fully eliminated. The ION-001 is a slick-looking device and very effective. What distinguishes it from other charge remover products is that it provides charge removal continuously while you play the record. This is a huge benefit for me." - T.T.

"Working out pretty good. Quiet surfaces, sweet open sound." C.W.

    REVIEWS:

Stereophile: Put this wall-wart-powered "watchdog" near your turntable—within 2"—and it will reduce static electricity in the area, wrote MF. Expensive, but the unit's half-life is approximately 10,000 hours, or almost 3 hours per day for 10 years. (Vol.43 No.7)
